These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Open Onexa platform (“Open Onexa,” “Platform,” or “Services”) operated by Nexa Labs Inc. By accessing or using Open Onexa, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Open Onexa is an artificial intelligence powered research intelligence platform designed to assist scientific literature synthesis, molecular data analysis, hypothesis generation, and research workflow organization.
Open Onexa DOES NOT:
All outputs are informational and analytical tools.
To use Open Onexa you must be at least 18 years old, use the Platform for lawful purposes, provide accurate registration information, and must not be prohibited under applicable law. Institutional users represent they have authority to bind their institution.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials, restricting unauthorized access, and ensuring accuracy of account information. You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials caused by user negligence.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.
Ownership: Users retain ownership of research data submitted to Open Onexa.
License to Nexa Labs: You grant Nexa Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to process submitted data solely for providing platform functionality, improving system performance (where permitted), and security monitoring. We do not claim ownership over your research materials.
Open Onexa uses probabilistic machine learning models. Outputs may contain inaccuracies, be incomplete, or reflect model limitations. You are solely responsible for validating outputs prior to publication, experimentation, clinical application, or grant submissions. The Platform is not a substitute for peer review.
All intellectual property rights in platform software, algorithms, branding, user interface, and documentation are owned by Nexa Labs Inc. No license is granted except as explicitly stated.
We maintain administrative and technical safeguards to protect user-submitted research. However, you are responsible for assessing whether to upload sensitive materials. Additional confidentiality protections require a signed agreement.
The Platform may rely on third-party providers including cloud infrastructure, analytics providers, and security services. We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, update models, or suspend services for maintenance without liability for temporary downtime.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexa Labs Inc. shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost research funding, publication delays, data misinterpretation, or clinical decisions based on outputs. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to indemnify Nexa Labs Inc. against claims arising from misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or unlawful research conduct.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if security risks are identified. You may terminate your account at any time.
You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in the United Kingdom.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
